THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:
Years of dealing with poor management, inflexible hours and work that felt unrewarding and meaningless finally pushed me to a breaking point. I could no longer overlook the impact it was having on me.
I knew it was time to respect myself, stay true to my dreams, and choose a path where my effort, values, and freedom finally aligned. It felt like an epiphany, realizing I was ready, and finally mature enough, to embrace real freedom that I deserved.
That’s what led me to build an online business where I can grow, create, and make a meaningful impact without limits and on my own terms.
THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BUST:
I moved to Canada in 2000 to advance my music career, but due to differences in academic systems, I ended up working low-paying jobs while navigating a divorce and starting over on my own as a new immigrant.
Working night shifts as a security guard, waiting tables, teaching FSL and music on call for board school, those experiences all helped shape who I am.
Eventually, I chose to change paths, focusing on e-learning instructional design for various companies. That journey led me to pursue a long-held dream: starting my own business.
THE BOOK THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS:
For the past twenty years, I've been passionate about reading Personal Development books.
I have read numerous books by authors such as Robert Schuller, Dale Carnegie, Norman Vincent Peale or Leslie T. Giblin. Each of their books has helped me broaden my perspective in various ways.
I have always viewed life as a vast university that we share and experience with those we encounter or care about, which has inspired my strong desire for personal growth.
Recently, I watched "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and Bob Proctor with my son, including both the report and the movie. We were amazed and have watched it again not long ago.
If I were to highlight a single book about , I would mention Reengineering Yourself by Dr. Daniel D. Araoz and Dr. William S. Sutton.
